At the beginning of 2026, the Board of Directors of the French Society of Medical Mycology is pleased to extend to you its very best wishes for health, success, and fulfillment, both personally and professionally. The past year has once again demonstrated the dynamism and commitment of our community for medical mycology, research and education. We warmly thank each and every one of you for your involvement and continued support.
The year 2026 promises to be rich in major scientific highlights and opportunities for exchange. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the joint SFMM–SFPT–SFT meeting, which will be held in Paris on January 13, as well as to our national congress organized in Marseille from April 28 to 30, in association with the French Society of Parasitology and the France-Maghreb Day of Parasitology and Mycology.
As a reminder, two competitions are also currently open: the “Photo of the Year” contest and the SFMM call for research projects, open until January 31.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the importance of paying your annual membership fee, which is essential for the proper functioning of the Society and for supporting its activities, particularly those benefiting our younger colleagues.
We look forward to the pleasure of meeting you throughout the year at our various events. We once again wish you an excellent year 2026 and encourage you to stay connected via the SFMM info channel.
