SFMM

The French Society of Medical Mycology (SFMM:Société Française de Mycologie Médicale) was created in 1956, in the Pasteurian tradition. It aims to coordinate scientific and educational activities in the field of medical mycology, for the international community of mycologists. The SFMM aims to increase our fundamental and applied knowledge of fungi. We also hope to optimize the epidemiological, diagnostic and therapeutic management of fungal diseases. We provide logistic support to encourage exchanges between mycologists, whether fully qualified and experienced or still in training, by setting up meetings, working groups and training courses.

We bring mycologists together through our national conference, other conferences organized in collaboration with our partners and our scientific journal, the Journal of Medical Mycology. I encourage you to browse the various pages of the site to discover our activities.

Your registration as a member of the SFMM will contribute to the growth and international reputation of our society, as has the recent indexing the Journal of Medical Mycology in the PubMed database. Becoming a member will also enable you to take part in member-only meetings, to access private sections of the website and to benefit from several member discounts (meeting attendance and subscription to the magazine).

So, mycologists from France and elsewhere, join us now!
