Some representatives of the SFMM have just participated in the joint congress of the BSHAM-SFMM in Ghent in Belgium where they had the pleasure of meeting their Belgian and Dutch colleagues. The two-day format allowed many discussions on various topics such as the mycobiome, the pathophysiology and diagnosis of Pneumocystis, the resistance of Aspergillus to azoles and the biology of Candida. Several French mycologists were speakers, including several of our young colleagues, but also international personalities such as Johan Maertens, Andreas groll, Paul Verweij, Patrick van Dijk, Enrique Calderon and Martin Hoenigl. A formula to renew with our Belgian friends. We would like to thank all the participants and organizers of this congress.
