The 2026 SFMM Photo Contest is now open!
As usual, the image selected by the members of the Board of Directors will appear on the cover of the Journal of Medical Mycology in 2026. In addition, the winner will receive free registration for the next SFMM congress, which will be held in Marseille from April 28 to 30, 2026.
Images not selected for the cover will also be showcased in a photo gallery on the SFMM website.
All aspects of medical mycology are welcome, including clinical, macroscopic, microscopic, digital, and particularly photogenic graphical images.
Images must have a resolution of 300 dpi for a 15 x 15 cm format, corresponding to slightly more than 3 MB (1772 x 1772 pixels).
Each submission should include a caption of no more than two sentences in English, indicating the magnification where applicable (for microscopic images). The candidate’s name, affiliation, and email address must also be provided.
Of course, all SFMM members are encouraged to participate, but this contest is especially a great opportunity for our younger colleagues, whether or not they are already members, to get involved in the life of our society.
