The SFMM’s ambition relies in contributing to the knowledge improvement about fungi, both at the fundamental and applied levels. It aims at participating in the management optimization of fungal diseases on the different aspects related to epidemiology, diagnosis and therapeutic. It provides financial and logistical support for scientific exchanges between mycologists, both experienced and trainees, by setting up meetings, working groups and training courses.
